Brooklyn Flea, Round 2

It rained, and it poured... Again. Ok no rain, but it was cooooold. What is up May? 

But the gravy boat people were there (blessed gravy boat), so despite the clouds we were happy.

Mom came by and brought some eggs.

Also known as my roof... that I'm supposed to be sharing with my neighbors. Sorry neighbors. You'll just have to host your BBQ's out back.

FFF @ King's County Salvage

It Rained, it poured...

And its still pouring...


However rewind to 8 am Sunday morning:

I was sitting in my car, sopping wet from the torrential downpour that was happening, staring at the empty lot that was the Brooklyn Flea. I have yet to buy one of those fancy smancy tents and pictured myself alone with all my jars shivering under the pathetic excuse of an umbrella I had in my car. But then I was told they had tents to rent for the unprepared people like me and the rain gave way for a minute and people started to shuffle out of their vans with their stuff. And so I followed with my stuff. And we all set up our stuff. And Noah found the gravy boat people and all was good. Soggy but good.

So it rained Sunday, my first flea market day, and that kept people away. But it was still fun. Its pretty awesome that from 8 am to 5 pm I get to play shopkeeper of my own pop up store of sorts. I kinda like it. Especially because I can make it look however I want and no one can tell me otherwise!

Sold some stuff. Ate some more stuff.

Tomorrow is my very first day at the Brooklyn Flea in Williamsburg! I'll be selling my mason herbs, micro lettuce gardens, strawberries in a bucket, sweet smelling flower bouquets, and maybe a crown or two... if i find the time to make em. Just look for the bit of green between the aisles of vintage clothes and antique industrial lamp parts. If you don't see me, maybe hang out by the gravy boat food stand for a minute and you'll run into my boyfriend.... because me being at the flea is the best thing that has ever happened to the secret fat kid inside of him.


So come one. Come all. Rain or shine. Cuz i'll be really bummed if you don't. :)

Flower Crowns!!!!!!!!!!! yay

Check out these new crowns I've been making!!... as well a huge mess on the floor of my apartment. 

i made a couple for some fancy magazines and i'll post the official images when they come out - one even has little air plants living in it!!
